Miss Conduct?

Should NFL players be able to swear?

Some say NO, but way to many say yes or don’t care if they do. This topic has been brought up many times though out professional sports and all they can do is fine the person. The many people that don’t care if professional athletes swear outweigh the number of people that do care making it impossible to put a serious penalty on the ‘crime’.

Was Tom Brady overreacting last Sunday? One fan says he was, screaming vulgar language on the sidelines taking out frustration. He saw it as Tom Brady overacting and not looking professional. The league has not yet charged Brady with any fines but see some on the way. Rex Ryan fined $100,000 for screaming '[Bleep] you!' at end of Jets-Pittsburgh Steelers game. Rex Ryan has been fined a total of $225,000 dollars just for langue alone.

The side that doesn’t care if athletes swear say they are grown men and women who can say whatever they want. “Restricting them or giving a harsher penalty would be ridiculous.” The broadcast net work already does enough to keep it off the air.

If you look at it from parents prospective it looks awful. Seeing the professionals a lot of kids look up too swearing on camera for the whole world to watch isn’t a good role model. I think athletes like Tom Brady do a good job hiding their emotions for these reasons.
